Over reacting customers

Every month I have the Sunrise Support Staff go through my desk top & remove junk files & other items that may hamper or slow down my computer. I have no complaints. Whenever an issue does occur, such as an occasional crash issue. The Sunrise Staff gets on it & resolves the problem. I've had my unit for almost 4 years, and she runs as quiet as a mouse with fast response etc. In fact these are the only group of techs that I don't have to worry about anything of major proportions going haywire on me like a lot of other *** out there on the market. If the communication is just so will it be with your mechanical items. Most of you probably don't know how to maintain your unit for only having you to blame why it don't work right. Your alright with me Sunrise.

Charged twice for service that was not working

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Paid $199.99 for what was service to my computer. It was to offer protection against any corruption. Did not happen. My computer was later corrupted and I was again charged $199.99 to get my computer fixed. The techs for this company barely speak English. I asked to have one of the $199.99 payments refunded. They call me 5 to 6 times a day to fix my computer which is working alright. They are trying to over-service me to justify keeping both of payments. I still want my $199.99 initial payment for service that was not provided.

Sunrise PC shares the same telephone number as Technet Online(s), Inc. and Systec International, Inc.

The good news is that these scammers are *** enough to give out 3 numbers (like "Jay") gave to me when he tried to hijack my PC at the tune of $299.99) and those numbers all match. Systec is a registered NJ corporation based out of a shabby house in Parsimanny, NJ.

Call the NJ Board of Business Licensing and AGs office to report. For once, a scammer is in the US and can be held accountable.

Company threatened me, stole my AVG product code, scanned through my emails

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I had problems with AVG. I goggled the support number for them. I thought I was speaking with an AVG Tech. The man had an Indian accent. I explained to him my problems with my computer. He convinced me to let him access my computer. I was on AVG premium support. I noticed when I logged in after the work. I was on the regular. They removed my AVG and downgraded me to regular. It got even worse from there. Every Day they would call me and threaten me leaving voice mails if I didn't call them, and pay the 200 dollars for work they didn't do. They would report me to FBI, they also said they would contact this woman who I haven't spoken to in years. She on my Time Warner Cable account Bill, so they HAD to scan my emails. They said her first and last name. I reported them to FTC, I told them that. I asked them to STOP calling me. I explained leaving voice mails that threatening me was illegal. I could sue them with my lawyer. They said "Oh our lawyer will contact you in 24 hours. I said "No, I don't want your lawyer or you to ever call me again." They kept calling, saying my PC would be black listed. Trying use strong arm ways. I finally changed my number. They didn't do a *** thing to fix my PC. Actually stole my AVG product code. I'm pretty sure they illegally went through my emails. This company claims be based in US. Every person I talked to from them had a strong Indian accent. They claim to work for company's they don't. I had to google their number to find out which company they actually worked for.

Deceptive & misleading!!!!!!!!!!

My wife was trying to transfer her Mcafee subscription to her new computer. She Google Macafee & this company popped up #1 & it said they were Mcafee. Later we found out it was a deceptive Google Adwords campaign. They claimed to be Mcafee, the told her my brand new computer had a virus & that I needed to pay them $300 to fix the problem. After realizing this was not not Macfee 5 minutes after the fact, they refused to refund my wife her money. I tried to speak to 3 different to resolve this issue, but I was met with aggression & rude behavior by all of the managers.

BE AWARE OF UNSOLICITED CALLS--IT'S PROBABLY A SCAM!

I received a call around dinner time from this guy with a heavy Indian accent name Brandon Wilson. He made himself sound like he's with dell or windows technical support. I asked him if this is a sales call and he said no. Since I've had gotten technical support before for my dell desk top so I thought he was for real. He told me to go to my PC and he started to show me how my pc was and is still being hacked and tryed to show me how his company is legit and then tried to sell me antivirus software plans. At that moment, I told him I'm not ready to buy an antivirus soft just yet and that I need to look further into this issue. Then he asked if money was an issue and that I could just get started by signing with a $50 payment now. I told him no and he told me he'll call me back. I just searched the web for reviews of this company and they have a bunch of complaints on file. SO JUST BE AWARE IF YOU GET A CALL LIKE THIS. IT'S A SCAM!!!! HANG UP THE PHONE.

They replace new programs with older versions of them. Then one day they tell you that you need an upgrade and they'll obtain one for you and simply download the program that belonged to you in the first place.

Only the best for you. What a bunch of nice guys!

Why?

They are great salesmen. They should be working for honest firms not Sunrise PC Support.

My AVG failed to protect me against something called Trojan Virus and when I called for tech support Sunrise PC Support took the call.

Then the agent hit the sales pitch my system needed cleaning which Sunrise PC Support could do with a 1 Yr program for $149 or 2 Yr $249 which were higher than prices I had seen some where else from this same company.

To make my story short I will probably use them to clean my computer for long period of time, due to their expertise knowledge for solving any kind of issue by Technicians. I want to vote them 4/5 for their great effort to resolve issues of their customer.

Scams are up in the air. The more technology developed we are becoming, the more artifice are being thought up to fool us.

Scammers have not even left Indisputable support companies from making their soft targets, and I think Sunrise PC Support is one such. I have used their services; they do not fool you for money. Even the technicians don’t ask for your credit card details or other bank credentials. I have used them many times, but have never felt that they are scamming me.

So, I don’t agree with your words. 8)

I don't agree with you. If you are saying for Sunrise Pc Support, they helped me by fixing my HP probook and getting the latest update of win 7 on it along with the antivirus.

I hope you are not mistaking them for some other company. And as for the reviews i have seen those, but i would believe what i know and dealt with.

They are providing excellent computer support for my little business for a while with their customer concentric suggestions. :)
